Rock Climbing

Life is better on the rocks!

At the crag or on a multi-pitch route, here in the Canadian Rockies or exploring new climbing destinations, here is the beta and the stories of our climbing adventures.

At the Crag

Climbing at a crag can be anything from a fun, relaxing day socializing with friends to an intense push to send a challenging project climb.

I like to try Crag Challenges that are somewhere between those two extremes.

Multi-Pitch Climbing

Climbing higher on longer routes, whether it’s to the top of a mountain or a classic route, fully bolted sport or trad, multi-pitch climbing is the ultimate adventure.

Learn more about multi-pitch climbing and get beta on some moderate routes in the Canadian Rockies.

Rock Climbing Trips

The rocky Todra Gorge with steep rock climbing walls and a river.

Todra Gorge, Morocco

In May 2024, we went to Morocco to take in the culture and climb in the Todra Gorge.

Joshua Tree, California

Read about our climbing trips to Joshua Tree, California in March 2023 and 2024. It’s a great place to learn and practice trad climbing.

Red Rock, Nevada

We spent a few days climbing at Red Rock near Las Vegas in 2018. It was a business trip but we took the opportunity to check out the rock climbing.

Malibu, California

We spent a day in Malibu rock climbing at the beach. What a cool setting!
