A fun longer ride from the West Bragg Creek parking lot.
We went out on White Tail, then onto Braggin’ Rights out to Merlin View. We rode up Merlin View to Kestrel. There we exited onto the Kestrel Trail. We turned around and rode back on Kestrel and then down Merlin View to complete the Merlin View loop. We then rode Braggin’ Rights back to the parking lot.
The red dot on the left side of the sign is where Kestrel takes off from Merlin View.

This sign and the pink ribbons show where to exit Merlin View onto Kestrel.
We rode about 1 km out on Kestrel coming to a beautiful view point at the top of a ridge.
We went back down Kestrel the way we had come, then continued on Merlin View back to Braggin’ Rights. We rode Braggin’ Rights back to the parking lot.
It was a very fun and satisfying ride. We covered about 17 km with about 500 meters of height gain.
